I spun down the end of the road When you opened the door to have a smoke The rain got me soaked So I ran back inside A sink full of red cups and empty bottles My shoes are stuck to the floor again And I don’t know half these people But I love them all the same Mesmerised by flashing lights I think we should sleep I think we should dance I think it’s 3am again I think we were happy then The smell is enough to get me gone So don’t come near me We’ve done this twice this week already Let’s make it three Open another and keep on going The night is young and so are we When the suns up we are sleeping Cos we’re only human

Letdown 02:49
Learning lessons, sit next to me I think you owed me a little bit of money I’ve never done this but you want me to Soon I can’t see the whole room Chew me up and spit me out Take what’s mine and leave me out Lean in close and you can see The way you control me The dust on the furniture in your house Makes it hard to breath out I replicate the moves you make To become more of a letdown Drive me home Dial tone It’s not enough I hope it isn’t And we’re still friends Just not in the usual sense Everyday I thought I worked hard enough Put it all aside for you oh but you Couldn’t care less what I did for you Everyday I thought I was happy The dust on the furniture in your house Makes it hard to breath out I replicate the moves you make To become more of a letdown

Missed U 03:29
Surprise It’s the first time in months that I’ve seen you smile Not gonna lie I knew you’d go until your blind I don’t care if the drink was talking for you It doesn’t lessen the fact that you said “I missed you” Because I did too I did too Hold on tight His arms is weak but his words are strong The way that he fell to the floor Dancing around the room To the songs we danced to way back when We were younger and wiser and didn’t look ahead I don’t care if the drink was talking for you It doesn’t lessen the fact that you said “I missed you” Because I did too I did too Don’t cry because it’s over so soon With a close we can look forward to something new
4.
If I stepped outside I know you wouldn’t be far behind Cos you’ll be there at the places I go But when I cross the road I want you to know That I still think of you at night But I haven’t cried Art school student stretched at the seams You know that I cannot believe The way you look today And the way you looked yesterday Saw you at the station I kept my head down and repeated the actions I’ve gone through before just do it one more time I’m sorry I find it hard to move my eyes that far But if the tables turned Would you stand aside Art school student stretched at the seams You know that I cannot believe The way you look today And the way you looked yesterday I’ve said that I’m sorry I think it got through All of that time spent relying on you Has finally found a way I spoke to you today
5.
another year is over and I’m still stuck in the same old past I know we’re getting older but I don’t wanna grow up, grow up come on and waste my time I’ve already wasted most of my life maybe i’ll age in the mean time it’s like we’re running backward If we were still the same why would you just give up I feel like I’m being forward telling you the truth but i don’t know any other way come on and waste my time I’ve already wasted most of my grown life maybe i’ll age in the mean time but i don’t think thats possible do you even know me anymore do you even know me anymore do you even know me anymore do I even know myself

Spaceman 01:58
Cross the sky Shine brighter than the satellites Wave goodbye Say so long before you are gone I hope you remember to keep on going I hope that your feet don’t touch the ground Wave goodbye I don’t hear what you say Shout it louder anyway The speed is so strong The delays have got me waiting on Can you hear us from below? We’re transmitting on our stereo Say so long before your gone And again There you go doing your best Gone over my head Don’t forget
7.
Red 02:37
You wanna get away but you don’t know how It was all looking up until you looked down The soil is dry and the grass is dead Can’t see the clouds floating over your head Made new friends but they’re all the same Sitting at the side I overhear them say That they’re getting bored of the regular days And they wish that they weren’t always afraid When you’re getting high remember me I hope you see my face when you fall asleep Hope you’re getting sad when you’re having fun Hope I’ll be your friend when you have none If you point the blame it will come to an end Using super glue when you try to mend The red in your hair and and the red on his sheets And the red that you spot between your teeth
8.
Harley 02:25
Roll on over, give us a smile We can only be here for a while You got a lot bigger since I was last here And you’re so excited Pick you up and you chew my sleeve I stroke you black fur and tell you to leave The needles are sharp but I don’t care Why you so naughty Harley We love you the same we love you the same Naughty Harley Everything’s just a game Trying to be tame You don’t want to go back to sleep When we get back to give you treats And when we walk through that door You get so excited I can’t wait for the summer to come When we can go out for a run Sniffing at the grass bellow your feet Everone’s at your house today You don’t know how you should behave
9.
Game Plan 03:26
I saw the other day The black cat got run over I wasn’t sober I used to hate the taste Now I can’t get enough It helps me feel Helps me fall in love When you ask me what to do with your life Or where to find orion I’ll look you in the face And ask the same question The wooden floor is where I sleep Below your feet Bending down to draw the line Between what is real and what’s in my mind I hope that Im reminded of The time we spent on this I saw the other day That everyones got a game plan I know I should But I guess that I’m not meant to
10.
I’m a colouring book made of ink and needles I do what I want because nothing is real Everyone is happy and everyone is sad And everyone is angry when I’m doing bad You’re a dot to dot made of broken thoughts created by the things that your parents bought Line for line we are both the same But you skip the numbers so who is to blame? I don’t want to waste my time on you I think we should find somebody new Trace the lines it’s all the same Soon we will all be home again Distant figures in the smoke Cry out one last time as you choke The scent is strong and I’m aware that we’re all scared
11.
If the pages flipped back If we didn’t know what could happen Well what would happen When the clock strikes twelve Would you shout Or would you listen Because time’s a reminder of what we lost But without the sands we don’t know much And if you cared enough to stay Nothing would change anyway I don’t wanna talk about it Not that you’d listen to me anyway But if my bones should make me feel at home And if my head would stop shaking And if your hands would let go of it And if your mouth would stop questioning The way you look at first to me and then away towards the ground I know I do the same to you but I doubt it has the same meaning Time stops for no mere feat And I know that this is special Crawling on all fours I approach the altar And pray for happy every after

about

This project has been something that meant a lot to me, and has taught me a lot. I see this as the final send off, a culmination of what's happened in the months leading up to the release, and a presentation what I've learnt.

It's been nice to know you.
